The series revolves around the historical period that took place in the second half of the Umayyad era and the beginning of the Abbasid caliphate until the era of its founder, Abu Ja’far Al-Mansur, the main character of the show. The show simulates people’s lives in that era and recounts developments in the Umayyad Caliphate from the era of Omar Bin Abdul-Aziz to the last of their successors “ Marwan bin Mohammed”. The show also follows the Abbasids in the intimate home of Abu Ja’far since the era of their Imam and his grandfather, “Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas,” who began the call to the Abbasids secretly, until it was time to announce “Ibrahimbin Mohammed bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas,” as the Imam of the Abbasids. The events continue until Abu Ja’far al-Mansur succeeeed his brtoher and ruled the Muslim countries for 20 years from 137 AH to 157 AH.
