Al-Nu’man ibn al-Mundhir , king of al-Hira, killed Uday ibn Zayd al-’Abadi, the poet, and the Persian king’s translator. The Persian king calls Al-Nu’man, who did ot trust the king, so he secretly goes to Dhi Qar and visited “Hani Ibn Mas’ud” and “Bakr ibn Wael” the lords of Sheiban and deposited his money and his women to be kept and protected, as soon as he arrived to Persia he was imprisoned in” Khanaqin “until he died in prison, and king of Persia crowned “Ayyas ibn Qubaisah al-Tai” as king of Al-Hira, and ordered him to send him the legacy of “Nu’man” and his family and the armor that he had, “Ayyas” sent to “Hani Ibn Mas’ud” to deliver the money and women to him, but hani will not.
