A warrior poet from Bani Tamim, who bore witness to the poverty and drought that befell his tribe, in the early beginnings of the Islamic state, so he was obliged to wield his sword raiding the caravans of the rich merchants to give the needy, a crime for which the authorities deemed him an outlaw, so he escaped to Persia and met Sa'eed Bin Othman who convinced him to join the Muslim army heading to conquer Khorasan.

Malik, an Arab poet who lived in the desert of Beni Tamim, was known for his charisma and strength. He invaded the rich for equality between them and the poor. He traveled a lot between the desert and other cities such as Basra, after years of raiding and robbery he became wanted and required from the governor of Basra, even forced to leave his family, wife and daughter toward Persia. Years later Malik joined the army of the Islamic conquests under the leadership of Said bin Othman bin Affan. In one of the battles Malik suffered a poisoned arrow that led to his illness. A twenty-year-old girl, distinguished by her beauty from other girls, was born and lived in Basra with a well-off family. Moved to Tamim's tribe due to her brother's chase of her friend. married to Malik; she adapted to live in the desert and gave birth to a daughter named Shahla. She was patient on her husband for his frequent absence, and used to distract herself by collecting herbs to treat the sons of the tribe.
