The story takes place in a village whose people are trying to lead a peaceful life, as young people tend to migrate from it in search of a livelihood, mainly due to the frequent search campaigns for rebels, leaving the villagers in an endless loop of anxiety. So, does colonialism prevail? Does that village remain a desolate land awaiting tyranny’s imminent strike, taking advantage of the young men’s absence and the utter lack of hope? Will those who disobey remain subject to torture? And yet, courage still looms in people’s hearts. The village’s residing doves and soaring hawks are still chanting its name, as many dwell on a dream of establishing a sense of purity, of hope and of prosperity. And thus, with hope and determination, what they wanted to achieve and witness finally becomes a reality. One of honor, pride, and glory.
